	Description/Remarks PEL2006 Wondrous Love is a magnificent and powerful setting of the American folk hymn. With brass accompaniment and tympani, it becomes the perfect anthem for Easter Day, or for concert performance. Opening with the three verses a cappella and in organum, the strength, simplicity, and energetic rawness of the original folk hymn is evident. Then, brass and organ sound a fanfare which opens the door to a whole new realm of glory and harmony in which this magnificent text, with its message of resurrection, is set. I have had so many kind words from members of the church about the incredible setting of "Wondrous Love." In fact, we sang it for three of our four Easter services.
